Leather Options 

Heritage 

Heritage leather upholds the traditional European practices of natural oil and wax tannage. The high oil and wax content of this performance leather ensures optimum suppleness and enhanced rider grip.Characteristic of the finest natural leather, the leather is heavily pre-oiled with visible shade variations, often being referred to as a ‘pull up’ leather with a traditional, if not distressed aesthetic. The depth of colour is dependent on the infused oil content within the fibers of each particular hide. The distinctive tones of colour are particularly visible when the leather is bent as the colour lightens returning over time to its original colour as the oils migrate back through into the fibers.

Opulence
Select models feature soft milled, Opulence Leather on the exterior of the saddle, renowned for its ultra-soft and grippy characteristics, ensuring immediate rider comfort, security and reducing any ‘breaking in’ time traditionally associated with new saddles.Models featuring Opulence Leather often offer additional features such as a recessed stirrup channel for the ultimate in close contact, wear patches for added durability and key innovations in rider comfort and adjustability such as an Adjustable Ergonomic Stirrup Bar. Available with a new narrow cavesson noseband which is a slimmer version of the Snaffle Cavesson, especially suited to horses with a small distance between facial crest and corners of the mouth.

Fairfax developed a flash noseband for riders who have a particularly keen horse and need more control than is achieved in the other Fairfax nosebands.  

The Fairfax flash noseband is not available in fine, if you choose this option the rest of the bridle will come in fine sizes and the noseband will be standard.

Flex-on Green Composite Stirrup

Designed from an organically sourced polyamide material, the green composite stirrup is made from organically sourced materials. Built with an internal steel frame to reinforce the polymer outer shell. These stirrups have an inclined grip and two elastomer springs. The Flex-On elastomers reduce and absorb shock waves. As a result this protects the riders ankles and knees. Your horse will also feel the benefit as these stirrups reduce the pressure through the stirrups on impact. These stirrups are aimed at a wide range of riders. While providing improved technical performance in terms of shock absorption and ergonomics (a specific feature of flex-on), the green composite stirrup offers quality at a competitive price.

The magnets on the front of the iron that say 'Flex-on' can be removed and replaced with different colour magnets!

Kentucky Horsewear Show Rug

Kentucky Horsewear developed an outstanding line of quality rugs. Our Show Rug with a filling of 160 grams has an artificial rabbit skin lining (100% animal friendly) which offers an extremely soft feeling and therefore prevents rubbing as well as hairs sticking in the lining. The artificial rabbit skin creates tiny air pockets that trap and retain the body heat. Thanks to the soft hairs of the artificial rabbit skin the horse gets a shinier coat. Because of the high warmth to weight ratio the Show Rug offers excellent comfort. The artificial sheepskin covers the entire neck and chest and offers and optimal comfort as well as a very fancy look. The outer fabric (600D high tenacity polyester) with a diamond quilted pattern makes it a lot harder for the horse to bite in the fabric and tear it up. Whitaker Overton Jump Saddle

The Overton is a saddle specifically designed for jumping activities due to it’s forward cut and large padded knee roll which is staggered to encourage proper leg positioning.  The leather flap also features a padded section at the skirt to stop creasing and aid comfort.  The under panels are made from a synthetic leather and memory foam core which moulds perfectly to the shape of your horse, but there are also felt slits should you require additional flocking.
