Kentucky Horsewear developed an outstanding line of quality rugs. Our Show Rug with a filling of 160 grams has an artificial rabbit skin lining (100% animal friendly) which offers an extremely soft feeling and therefore prevents rubbing as well as hairs sticking in the lining. The artificial rabbit skin creates tiny air pockets that trap and retain the body heat. Thanks to the soft hairs of the artificial rabbit skin the horse gets a shinier coat. Because of the high warmth to weight ratio the Show Rug offers excellent comfort. The artificial sheepskin covers the entire neck and chest and offers and optimal comfort as well as a very fancy look. The outer fabric (600D high tenacity polyester) with a diamond quilted pattern makes it a lot harder for the horse to bite in the fabric and tear it up. It also prevents shavings from sticking to the rug. The Show Rug features double front closures and two detachable cross surcingles that are reinforced with artificial leather. The bungee cord is also detachable and has a plastic cover which allows easy cleaning. The rug is machine washable at 30°, do not tumble dry.

Kentucky Horsewear Tendon Boots Elastic

The Tendon Boots Elastic have a tough outer shell casing which is styled in an extremely light yet strong TPU to protect against impact, whilst the tendon and fetlock areas are both reinforced with Proteck Impact Gel* for ultimate protection. Laboratory tests have shown that the boots absorb impact over 50% better than any other boot currently on the market, with the ability to disperse a heavy blow equivalent to that which would actually break a human bone. The tendon area of the boot features intelligent ventilation holes to help prevent legs and tendons overheating, whilst the neoprene lining is also perforated, making these boots incredibly breathable, as well as offering excellent cushioning against the skin.

The boots also feature a higher cut out design than traditional tendon boots to allow total freedom of movement around the pastern area, when the horse is jumping. Consideration is also paid to give optimum freedom and comfort to the splint bone, so that horses are able to flex the knee without interference. The tendon boots feature an open front and the double elasticated insertion within the strap design has been developed to cater for those riders who want a boot, which offers the ultimate protection, yet features this more traditional design. The elastic closure makes it very easy to close these boots and adjust the size. These boots sustain the washing machine at 30°, do not tumble dry. Kentucky Horsewear Air Tech Eventing Boots

This extremely strong and shock absorbing Air Tech Eventing Boot offers the best protection and comfort for your horse during the cross-country. The Air Tech Eventing Boot is made out of 5 layers. On the inside there is a very breathable knitted lining which ensures a soft feeling against the skin and therefore prevents rubs. This lining also prevents the boot from slipping or turning. The second layer is made out of 5mm thick EVA foam. This material is extremely light, shock absorbing and offers a lot of stability to the boot as well as your horse’s leg. This EVA foam is perforated with ventilation holes to allow the heat to escape so the legs don’t overheat. The third layer is a 2mm thick TPU hard shell that stops the largest impact and prevents penetration from horseshoes or studs. On the front of the hind leg we added another layer of 5mm thick EVA foam to provide extra protection when touching a jump. The outer layer is made out of perforated artificial leather. The tiny ventilation holes prevent the leg from overheating. The material doesn’t absorb water which allows the Air Tech Eventing Boots to maintain their light weight. Therefore, they can enhance the performance and contribute to the comfort of the horse during these long, hard cross-country courses.

On the side of the fetlock we added a seem to ensure a perfect fit and so the Air Tech Eventing Boots don’t slide off and don’t turn. The boots feature an extremely strong Velcro fastening. Quick tip: put some tape around the fastening of the boots to extend their durability. The Air Tech Eventing Boots are machine washable at 30°, do not tumble dry. Close the Velcro fastening before washing or put in a washing bag. Our Air Tech technology was perfectioned during the 3 year-long development process and was tested under the hardest conditions. This technology enables extreme breathability which prevents your horse’s legs from overheating during the hard work.

These Overreach Boots Air Tech are very strong, flexible and comfortable and do not turn or invert thanks to a little ball inside the overreach boot. The Sheepskin Leather Overreach Boots provide excellent shock absorption and maximum protection. They offer extra protection for injuries that can be caused by overreaching. These overreach boots are very strong, flexible and comfortable. To some they may appear to be slightly too small, but this is not the case. They are shaped for a perfect fit, safety and stability. The Sheepskin Leather Overreach Boots incorporate a tough, hardwearing 100% waterproof PVC leather. With their expert design they are perfect for all disciplines. The artificial sheepskin lining is ideal for horses with sensitive skin.

Kentucky Horsewear 3D Spacer Cooler Sheet 

The 3D Spacer Cooler Sheet is a super lightweight and multi-functional rug that can be used for different purposes, such as transport, cooling down, fly sheet and in combination with other rugs as a liner or to put on your horse after work to dry him fast. The 3D Spacer material is a honeycomb structure, it allows the body heat of the horse to go through as well as offering a cushioning effect, which is extremely comfortable. The Riding Rug features a strong Velcro fastening to attach in front of the saddle, as well as a tail cord. Kentucky Horsewear Quarter Sheet 

The Kentucky Horse Quarter Rug or Exercise Sheet is the perfect choice for the early mornings and colder months. Use when warming up and also when cooling down. An exercise sheet like no other. The Kentucky Quarter Rug is lined with a luxurious faux fur. The faux fur lining is soft on the most sensitive skin and as a result, will help prevent the rug from rubbing.

The Quarter Rug is soft and comfortable on the horses body and will provide optimum warmth for your horse. Containing 160gr of filling. The faux fur creates tiny air pockets against the horses skin and as a result helps maintain the horses temperature.

Please note. One of the latest changes in the Dressage rules for 2019 state that only rugs designed for exercise will be allowed in the warm up arena. Rest assured. The Kentucky Quarter sheet fulfills that amendment and can be worn in the warm up ring.

The Quarter Rug attaches to the saddle with two Velcro fastenings and a tail cord. As a result this prevents the rug slipping off the horse whilst riding. Finally finished with Diamond quilting pattern, and brown artificial leather piping.

The Kentucky logo is stitched in brown artificial leather giving the Quarter Rug a very fancy and stylish look.

Kentucky Horsewear Sheepskin Noseband Cover is a smart and stylish addition to your bridle. The noseband stops rubbing and also reduces pressure on the nose. Sheepskin Nosebands can also be used to lower difficult horses heads when riding. Made from Faux Sheepskin, they are extremely soft and easy to put on and off your bridle with its Velcro closure. This product is perfect if your horse has sensitive skin, whilst also protecting your leather from sweat and dirt.
