On a base of Soya Hulls, Linseed Expeller and Black Oats and it contains over 30 Vitamins, Minerals, and Amino Acids (which are chelated when required to improve the level of absorption). This balancer also includes Prebiotics & Probiotics to further support the digestive system.
With low starch (<5%), low sugar (<3%) and high protein levels (17,5%) this balancer is excellent for feeding horses requiring controlled or restricted diets.
Supplied in a fully compostable fibre tub.
Instructions for proper use
Complementary feeding stuff for horses. 100g per 100kg of bodyweight, for example for a 500kg horse, feed 500g. Split the total daily feed rate by the number of daily feeds. Suitable for feeding with complementary forages. 1 cup (included) = approximately 100g.

A complementary DTO Smectite mineral feed to support healthy gastrointestinal function in foals and horses.
Smectizorb (complementary mineral feed) is an intestinal protectant based on Di-Tri Octahedral (DTO) Smectite. This formula provides a large surface area and high absorbency capacity for toxins, bacteria and free radicals which may contribute to digestive tract upsets. Smectizorb also contains Illite and Kaolin to further assist the gastro-intestinal function of horses and foals. This may be added to feed, mixed with water to form a paste/liquid, or may be administered by a vet via stomach tube.
