The Fairfax Girth is a luxury item and needs maintaining well.  The girth should be well cleaned with warm water after use and fed with leather feeder after EVERY use.  Glycerin and oil should not be used as they seal the sweat into the leather and this is what causes the leather to crack over a period of time. 

Ideal Stud Girth 

Designed to complement any competition jump saddle fitted with short girth straps. The shape of our stud girth allows most horses freedom of movement behind their elbow. The sturdy top protects the horse’s underside from knocks & wounds caused from stud strike. The padding is lovely and soft against the horse. The stud girth also has dee ring and sam brown stud martingale attachment.

The elastic at either end is very strong and durable. Made up of three double layers of elastic. Fitted with a D-Ring. This also allows the attachment of breastplates or schooling gear to the stud girth. This is the same for all Kentucky Girths. Whether it’s the Anatomic Girth or the Kentucky Sheepskin Stud Girth. The Kentucky Horsewear Short Sheepskin Stud Girth uses artificial leather and faux sheepskin. This makes it 100% Animal Friendly, whilst also being very easy to maintain. The Kentucky Artificial Leather range does not absorb dirt, sweat or moisture. As a result this makes it very durable. It is more resistant to makes and will also not lose its colour nor damage easily.
