This double sided gel pad delivers the benefit of Acavallo® unique non-slip and shock absorbing therapeutic gel to both the horse and saddle at the same time. Non-slip gel means this pad wont move on the horse’s back, in any direction, and the saddle once positioned won’t move on the pad. No need for breast plates, tight girthing and awkward Velcro tabs. The low profile of this gel ensures no excessive bulk between horse and saddle to distort the fit, and combined with a luxurious non-crease brush cotton fabric make this a stunning square pad. Favoured by saddle-fitters to raise the front of the saddle, reducing the damaging effects of pressure from the points of the tree. Perfect for filling in wither hollows on the older or high-withered horse. Will not slide back or down, and can be used alone or in conjunction with another pad or saddlecloth.

The ‘Front Riser’ is particularly suited to horses with high withers or that have lost muscle and bulk at the top of the shoulder and below the wither. The pad has minimal depth over the centre so doesn’t increase pressure under the pommel. However, its unique honeycomb structure ensures the the main weight bearing areas are compensated. Traditional ‘wedge style’ risers that taper to the back of the saddle often pivot on the wither & spine increasing pressure under the front of the saddle as well as causing an unwanted 'rise' in the whole saddle.
The ‘Rear Riser’ has the same honeycomb structure to absorb and softly distribute the riders weight. It can be adjusted back & forward for effect. They can also be used together as an additional layer of absorbtion under the saddle.

It is very popular within the showing world as it is very good at stopping saddles from rolling side to side. It also helps stop saddles slipping up the neck and slipping backwards. This Shaped therapeutic anti slip gel pad is made thicker than the light weight pad - giving it a dual pupose both anti-slip and shock absorbing. It can be used directly onto the skin or between a numnah and the saddle. This special gel is non-toxic hyperallergenic and will not react adversley to the skin. It will stop any unwanted movement of the saddle both back & forth and side to side. A real asset if saddles rotate on the 'rounder' horses & ponies!

They can be used on top of a thin cotton square or straight onto the horses back.
Button hole slits positioned on the front edge allows for neat combination with all LeMieux D-Ring saddle pads. This combination means the standard velcro straps on the Half Pad can be removed if desired.
