It features the Fairfax headpiece which significantly reduces pressure and enables the horse’s swallow mechanism to operate comfortably when eating & drinking during travel.
The Rio Headcollar is:

• Cushioned with pressure-absorbing Prolite on the headpiece, cheek pieces and noseband
• 30% lighter than most other travel headcollars generally used
• Hand made in our Walsall factory from Sedgwick's first selection leather using quality brass fittings

A traditional two-flap saddle, specifically designed for the competitive rider looking to achieve a closer connectivity with their horse when jumping. While the rider appreciates the enhanced comfort and luxury afforded by this saddle, the horse benefits from all the research and development that went in to our Performance Products, including multiple girthing options and fitting features.

The Fairfax Girth is a luxury item and needs maintaining well.  The girth should be well cleaned with warm water after use and fed with leather feeder after every use.  Glycerin and oil should not be used as they seal the sweat into the leather and this is what causes the leather to crack over a period of time. 

 

Girth Bank

• Girths will be sold at full retail price with a trial period of 2 weeks
• Girths may show some signs of wear from previous trial use.
• If a girth is not suitable and therefore returned within the trial period it will be refunded less 10% of the retail value.
• Upon its return, the girth will be subject to inspection, if there has been excessive wear or damage during the trial period it may be subject to further reductions in the amount refunded.
• Customers will be responsible for the cost and safe return of the girth, they should be packaged in a way that does not damage the girth in any way.  We recommend keeping the packing it arrives in until a decision is made about whether to keep the girth or not.
• If you wish to return the girth in exchange for a brand new version of what you tried we will process the exchange plus the cost of the trial period.  The new girth will be dispatched once the trial cost has been paid, or once it is in stock.
• Unfortunately we cannot offer girths on girth bank internationally
• GIRTHS MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME BOX AND PACKAGING AS THEY WERE DELIVERED.  DAMAGE FROM POOR PACKAGING MAY RESULT IN MONEY BEING DUDUCTED FROM THE REFUND.
• Returns made over the permitted trial period will be charged at £2 per day

The only girth to have been tested during its development in conjunction with the BEF World Class Programme.  During squad training, Centaur Biomechanics gait analysis was used to test the effect of the girth on the horses’ performance.  “We recorded up to 33% improvement in forelimb protraction and general range of motion of every elite horse we tested” *

Added glamorous touches include snake print embellishment on the cantle and stirrup loop, grey welting and stitch lines plus the addition of buttery-soft premium French calf leather.
 

The Rebecca’s open and balanced seat is precisely formed to align the rider over the horse’s centre of balance,  allowing for the most subtle of aids and adjustments.
