A forward seat, cushioned surface block. A traditional monoflap created especially for the competitive rider who appreciates enhanced comfort and luxury from their competition saddle. Designed using the research and development that went in to our Performance Products to ensure the horse benefits from Fairfax’s fitting features and girthing options.

· The block is sized so as not to interfere with the rider's seat or balance but, instead, to enhance stability and good position.
· The forward seat encourages the rider to sit up through their core in a true dressage seat.
· Multiple girthing options to achieve optimum fit and stability.

This saddle takes the R-Bar gullet plate

Developed with World & European medallist Gareth Hughes who wanted a saddle that allowed him to feel a greater connection with his horse without restricting the ability to give the subtlest aids or make minute adjustments.

• The ‘forward’ seat precisely aligns the rider more ‘in’ over the horse’s centre of balance.
• The saddle fitter has two girthing options to fine-tune the saddle stability according to the horse’s shape and movement
• Three thicknesses of adjustable shoulder blocks allow the rider to sit squarely on a horse with asymmetrical shoulders while allowing the horse to move freely underneath, building up muscle without restriction. Use the thicker block on the side with less muscle.
• Surface mounted thigh blocks give the rider support without restricting their position.

This saddle was designed and tested using pressure mapping and gait analysis.

Following the unprecedented success of the Fairfax Gareth (developed to give WEG team silver medalist Gareth Hughes a closer connection with his horse), the Rebecca has been launched for riders who appreciate a little more style. Added glamorous touches include snake print embellishment on the cantle and stirrup loop, grey welting and stitch lines plus the addition of buttery-soft premium French calf leather.
 

The Rebecca’s open and balanced seat is precisely formed to align the rider over the horse’s centre of balance,  allowing for the most subtle of aids and adjustments. Rider comfort is further enhanced by the surface mounted thigh blocks which support the rider’s position without restricting the knee. Recessed stirrup leathers allow for a closer contact with the horse’s sides, as do removable and adjustable blocks on the underside of the flap

• The Fairfax Classic Dressage has all the features common to every Classic saddle (see design details below), plus the following comfort-enhancing details:
• Precisely balanced seat to align and support the rider in the optimum dressage position
• The design and placement of the billets provides girthing options to fine-tune the fit to the horse’s shape and movement
• Luxurious double-oiled butt leather
• Super-soft full grain hide on the seat
• Stitched-on knee block to provide superior support for the rider’s leg with the stirrups at dressage length
• The addition of deep cushioning over the knee rolls means the support is softer and more accommodating for the leg than a monoflap block.

Ex Demo Fairfax Elias Monoflap Dressage Saddle 

This saddle has been used for saddle fittings and may show some signs of use.

Deep rear, and slim front, gussets to provide a perfectly balanced platform for the rider on a horse with 'uphill' conformation.
Full grain leather for an instant pre-broken-in feel, plus croc-print trim on the flap, cantle and front facing.
