Twin Sided Gel Square (Saddlecloth)

This double sided gel pad delivers the benefit of Acavallo® unique non-slip and shock absorbing therapeutic gel to both the horse and saddle at the same time. Non-slip gel means this pad wont move on the horse’s back, in any direction, and the saddle once positioned won’t move on the pad. No need for breast plates, tight girthing and awkward Velcro tabs. The low profile of this gel ensures no excessive bulk between horse and saddle to distort the fit, and combined with a luxurious non-crease brush cotton fabric make this a stunning square pad. It’s enough just one move to have at the same time a great square pad, stability and shock-absorption. This is a very useful pad for any yard or horse owner. This beautiful pad offers the best of both worlds. The therapeutic shock absorption of our shaped gel pad with added security of the non-slip properties of the gel on both sides. This allows the saddle to adhere to the top side and the bottom side to the numnah/square or the horses back if used on its own. The saddle is then cradled in a luxurious lambskin front & back rolled edge for the ultimate in 'good-looks'. The whole pad can be machine washed on 30 degrees.

These Acavallo gel risers are the most advanced design on the market. The highly shock absorbent therapeutic gel from Italy are anatomically designed to fit the horse's back & saddle and relieve pressure.

The ‘Front Riser’ is particularly suited to horses with high withers or that have lost muscle and bulk at the top of the shoulder and below the wither. The pad has minimal depth over the centre so doesn’t increase pressure under the pommel. However, its unique honeycomb structure ensures the the main weight bearing areas are compensated. Traditional ‘wedge style’ risers that taper to the back of the saddle often pivot on the wither & spine increasing pressure under the front of the saddle as well as causing an unwanted 'rise' in the whole saddle.

The ‘Rear Riser’ has the same honeycomb structure to absorb and softly distribute the riders weight. It can be adjusted back & forward for effect. They can also be used together as an additional layer of absorbtion under the saddle.

The tacky nature of these pads ensure minimal movement either laterally or back to front so they are in effect Non-Slip pads as well. They can be used in conjunction with the the Acavallo Shaped Gel Pads or can be placed on top of any numnah, half pad or square. Easily washed in a bucket and almost indestructible!
